Can call all you want,
But there’s no one home,
And you’re not gonna reach my telephone.
Telephone – Lady GaGa ft. Beyonce
There was a collective sense of anticipation today as people were expecting a thunderstorm which was forecasted to happen. Then it hit us. It started slow, but then escalated to epic proportions, and eventually elevatored to new heights of stormship. People were going wild, jumping in the pool, running in the hail with buckets over their heads, and generally enjoying the weather.
Went to a couple of graduations in the past weeks, and I have to say I’m kinda looking forward to my turn, though that would take another 2 years or so. Bahhh. But at least I still don’t have to worry about looking for a job. Not yet, anyway.
We had to shoot something for our documentary assignment the other day, and we went to Curtin. Oh it was fun, and Curtin is huge! But I think it’s a little too big. Takes forever to walk from one place to another. Plus we had at least 50 kilos worth of shooting equipment with us, so that didn’t help. I was carrying my camera, a Sony HDV camera, lightstands and some lights. Man that was tiring.
And I’ve been semi-concentrating on my other assignments too, hey. Went to the library on Saturday to get some work done, and I managed to do half my essay. Might go there again tomorrow or something. Plus I still have to compose my 2-4 minute song! Bah!
