Breathe Out, So I Can Breathe You In

I believe this is one of the biggest achievements in my life so far. I think it’s far more important than my UPSR, PMR, and SPM performance combined. I mean, what the hell can you do with the results of those pieces of paper? In real life. Especially if you’re doing what I’m doing, which admittedly is not much, but still. Media, hey. What do I need physics and add-maths and chemistry for?

100% Babeh! Without overstrumming!

So yeah. Enough of that nonsensical waste of precious years in school. I spent quality time with my flatmate (Saleh)’s Xbox360 and Guitar Hero : World Tour. I played my favourite song for the moment, and I played it on Hard mode. I’m no Guitar Hero nerd, so Hard is pretty damn difficult, if you ask me, which you didn’t. I’m going to try Extreme one day, but not just yet.

Took me a few days, but yay! And excuse the "Saleh". I'l sign in with my profile next time.

And now I can go to sleep happy yay!

Can call all you want,
But there’s no one home,
And you’re not gonna reach my telephone.

We Are Golden

There was a collective sense of anticipation today as people were expecting a thunderstorm which was forecasted to happen. Then it hit us. It started slow, but then escalated to epic proportions, and eventually elevatored to new heights of stormship. People were going wild, jumping in the pool, running in the hail with buckets over their heads, and generally enjoying the weather.

Went to a couple of graduations in the past weeks, and I have to say I’m kinda looking forward to my turn, though that would take another 2 years or so. Bahhh. But at least I still don’t have to worry about looking for a job. Not yet, anyway.

We had to shoot something for our documentary assignment the other day, and we went to Curtin. Oh it was fun, and Curtin is huge! But I think it’s a little too big. Takes forever to walk from one place to another. Plus we had at least 50 kilos worth of shooting equipment with us, so that didn’t help. I was carrying my camera, a Sony HDV camera, lightstands and some lights. Man that was tiring.

We had a jib! Fun - I was the operator!

And I’ve been semi-concentrating on my other assignments too, hey. Went to the library on Saturday to get some work done, and I managed to do half my essay. Might go there again tomorrow or something. Plus I still have to compose my 2-4 minute song! Bah!

Sometimes you’ve just gotta make it for yourself.
Sometimes sugar, it just takes someone else.

So I’ve decided to get a new place to jot down my thoughts, post up my photos, and write sideways my work, as I felt the .blogspot.com moniker (my previous blog was here) just wasn’t working for me anymore. Went through a few reviews of hosts and frameworks, and finally landed with DreamHost and WordPress. It’s going to take some getting used to, since I haven’t really discovered/learned how to code WordPress themes yet, but I think I’ll get the hang of it soon enough. Till then, this place is still a WIP, as I’m bogged down with assignments and shit from uni.
